Initiation is a song from 2022 by the ThalamusProject, an electracoustic group based in Luxembourg (http://www.thalamusproject.com/). For the video of Initiation, we used artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to create a cinematic vision of the song from within the “mind’s eye” of an AI. To create this, we trained an AI on thousands of images of landscapes, artworks and photographs that depict the conceptual meanings of the song’s lyrics.
